Are you there, God? It's Kim Kardashian! Kardashian, 30, has certainly been blessed in the looks department -- but when she was a tween, the same assets that made her famous were the bane of her existence. In the new book Kardashian Konfidential, co-written with sisters Kourtney and Khloe, Kim writes that she used to literally pray for smaller breasts.
"I was 11 when I got my period and I started developing," the reality star tells Popeater. "I would sit in the bathtub, take a washcloth, put it under really hot water and put it against my boobs and pray to God, please don't make my boobs grow any bigger."
It didn't help that Kourtney, just one year older, was incredibly mean about her little sister's changing body.
"Kourtney would be like, 'Your boobs are so big and ugly!'" Kim recalls. "She was so mean and then I would have to wear a bra and she would say, 'Who wears a bra? That's so disgusting.'"
Yikes -- how many years of therapy do you think it took for Kim to forgive Kourtney? Obviously, Kim has learned to embrace her curves since those difficult years. Perhaps more surprisingly, she's learned to live with her sisters' sometimes-brutal teasing.
"Normally 80 percent of the time it's me and Kourtney against Kim," admits Khloe, 26. "We make her cry sometimes. I think it's a build-up thing though. It's not that we're that mean, it's just like two weeks of picking on her and on the fifteenth day she starts crying."
Kourtney estimates that their teasing makes Kim cry "once every two years" -- and Kim agrees! Sisters will be sisters, we guess. Khloe, though, says the teasing is for Kim's own good, to keep her ego in check.
"We like to keep her level-headed. You might be stunning, little one, but you're not all that," Khloe says, snapping her fingers.
The book is written from each of the sisters' perspectives, and contains a lot of other revelations about their pre-television lives. On Monday, Khloe related another of the book's secrets: she lost her virginity at 14 to her older boyfriend (and seriously regretted it).
