July 4th Weekend TV Marathons

July 4th Weekend TV Marathons

Sure, Fourth of July weekend is about barbecues and playing by the pool. But you can't stay outside the whole time -- think of those  harmful UV rays! Plus, some TV networks are running marathons of shows you might want to catch up on. So take a few hours, or ten, to get your fill of some these popular favorites:

The Voice (E!, Saturday July 2, noon–8 p.m. ET. Also airs Sunday from 10 a.m. ET–6 p.m. ET.) In case you missed Javier Colon winning the first-ever season of the NBC show, you can see him sing his way to the top from the start.

The Real Housewives of… (Bravo, Sunday, 4:30 p.m. ET–Monday, 2 a.m. ET. Also airs Monday, 10 a.m. ET–Tuesday, 1 a.m. ET) If you're up to date on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Orange County but behind the ball on New York City and New Jersey, then this is the marathon for you.

Teen Mom (MTV, Saturday, 4 p.m. ET–Sunday, 12:30 a.m. ET. Also airs Sunday 8 a.m. ET–9 p.m. ET) Before Amber, Farrah, Laci and Catelynn return for a third season of the hit MTV docu-show on July 5, watch the ups and downs they've encountered as -- what else? -- teen moms.

Mob Wives (VH1, Saturday, 2 p.m. ET–midnight) If you haven't kept up with these mafia ladies, here's your chance. While you're at it, you might cook up some manicotti and some cannolis to go along with their juicy battles.

Say Yes to the Dress(TLC, Sunday, 9 a.m. ET – 1 p.m. ET) Whether or not you're soon to be a bride, this show is a hoot. And if you're married, it'll make you glad that dress search is long gone.

Drop Dead Diva (Lifetime, Sunday, 10 a.m. ET–11 p.m. ET) This marathon picks ups with season 2 of the show about a shallow model who dies and finds her soul in the body of a newly deceased plus-size attorney (Brooke Elliott) and continues through the first two episodes of the current third season.

The Judds (OWN, Sunday, 2 p.m. ET–8 p.m. ET) Need to take time out from your dysfunctional family reunion? Wynonna and Naomi Judd have their own share of mother-daughter issues.

Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes (OWN, Sunday, 11 a.m. ET–6 p.m. ET) Most critics agree: This is the best show on OWN so far. If you haven't checked it out, now's your chance.

Hoarders (A&E, Sunday, 7 a.m.–10 p.m. ET) Watching this show for 13 hours might actually be very sad. But it's an option.

Happy Fourth of July!
