He might claim to have "tiger blood" and "Adonis DNA," but Charlie Sheen is clearly not as invincible as he thinks. In the last week he lost custody of his 2-year-old twin boys Bob and Max, and his hit sitcom Two and a Half Men was canceled for the remainder of the season due to his erratic behavior.
But it looks like Sheen is "winning" in one area -- the actor is reportedly planning on pulling in a paycheck through sponsored tweets.
Stars like Kim Kardashian are paid as much as $10,000 per tweet by advertisers to promote their products. And now that Sheen (who calls himself an "unemployed winner" in his Twitter bio) has amassed more than 1.2 million followers in less than 48 hours, the offers are likely pouring in.
The troubled 45-year-old reportedly told TMZ his primary motivation for joining the micro-blogging site was to make some money through advertising. "I’m unemployed!" he quipped.
But now that Two and a Half Men is on hiatus, Sheen isn't the only one out of job. It seems his costar Jon Cryer is also getting creative about finding a post-TV gig. The funnyman appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday, where he jokingly took a job as the host's temp answering phones.
Watch for yourself below!
We can’t say we blame Sheen for wanting to benefit from the cultural fascination surrounding his breakdown. After all, maintaining "Sober Valley Lodge" and keeping the "Goddesses" happy must cost a pretty penny!
