Dealing with her change of locale with ease, Nicole ?Snooki? Polizzi treated television audiences to a New Year's Eve pre-taped moment at the Jersey Shore.
The pint-sized reality TV star appeared in a replica of the Times Square ball and slowly made her way down, signifying the stroke of midnight.
As for the confusion of why Snooki dropped in Jersey rather than the Big Apple, MTV producers said in a statement, "It was never intended or requested for Snooki to be in the actual New Year's Eve Ball in Times Square. The request to have her in a separate ball on a set-back roof came too late and was too impractical to fit in to our outdoor events."
Meanwhile, Miss Polizzi did take to the Big Apple on Friday night as she attended Newyearseve.com's After Party at Madame Tussauds.
