Kevin Smith?s ?Red State? Trailer Released

Taking a departure from his slacker Jay & Silent Bob films, Kevin Smith has created a religiously-charged horror flick called ?Red State.?

And the ?Catch and Release? director has put together a teaser that?s sure to get audiences excited about the 2011 release.

?Red State? is being described as ?a shocking new kind of horror film that aggressively confronts higher powers and extreme doctrines with a vengeance.?

Smith plans to take the film to Sundance and will auction off distribution rights after the film?s first screening.
